There are a couple of different ways you can register your title with a co-owner:
- Joint Tenants – both parties have an equal interest in the property and the right of survivorship applies. Example: Spouse
- Tenants in-common – partners can have equal or unequal interest in the property and the right of survivorship does not apply. Example: A friend
